India’s first Second Generation (2G) Ethanol Bio-refinery has been inaugurated at Bathinda in Punjab. As of now, there is no 3G Ethanol Bio-refinery in India. [A] 1 Only
[B] 2 Only
[C] Both 1 & 2
[D] Neither 1 nor 2

C [Both 1 & 2]

The Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) project is funded by the World Bank: This statement is correct. The Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) is a railway project in India that aims to create a dedicated freight corridor between Ludhiana in Punjab and Dankuni in West Bengal. The project is funded by the World Bank, which provides financial assistance for its implementation.

The freight corridor extends from Dankuni in West Bengal to Ludhiana in Punjab: This statement is also correct. The Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) spans from Dankuni, near Kolkata, in the state of West Bengal, to Ludhiana in the state of Punjab. It is designed to improve freight transportation capacity and efficiency by providing a dedicated railway corridor exclusively for freight trains.
